The changing face of the Together Trust

Regular readers will have noticed that the blog has recently undergone a bit of a transformation. If you keep up with the charity via social media or the website you will have seen that the Together Trust has a whole new look, complete with a fresh and colourful new logo  just in time to help kick-start our 150th year.

Throughout 2020 we are reflecting on our history, celebrating our achievements and how far we have come (as well as the work we currently do), all whilst looking to the future.

This isn't the first time the charity has changed its appearance. In a recent blog we learned more about the first logo created by the Manchester and Salford Boys' and Girls' Refuges and Homes.

The first logo - 1934

From around the mid twentieth century the Grace Lodge illustration faded out of use, and for a long time the charity was without a logo or distinctive look.

The second logo - 1995

Despite the charity having changed its name to the Boys' and Girls' Welfare Society in 1960, it wasn't until 1995, during the charity's 125th year, that a new logo (above) was adopted.

The third logo - 2005

With a new name came a new logo. In 2005 the charity re-branded to 'The Together Trust' to reflect its values, mission, and its widening and collaborative services. The logo, as well as our new name, made our function and distinguished heritage clear.

Our new logo - 2020

In celebration of our 150th year we have a much more playful, simplistic, and versatile logo with a special anniversary edition to boot!
