Where does the time go?
I realised today that Sunday is a special day - our very own archive blog will be one year old!
So what have we learnt?
And of course the blog has also directed genealogists our way. The archive holds a huge array of in-depth information on individuals who passed through our services. For many it can provide answers to long held questions:
There is nothing better then to hear these kinds of comments. For what is the point of preserving this information for many generations to come if it is not viewed, studied and enjoyed?
Twelve whole months have gone by where every week (well... almost!) we have been bringing you the stories, facts and photographs of the Together Trust’s glorious history. The blog has allowed us to bring some of our treasures to a much larger audience and taught us a few things on the way.
So what have we learnt?
- That the history of the Together Trust is not only important in our eyes but also to our many avid readers who reside as far away as Chile, Ghana and India!
- That our readers love, love. Our most popular blog by far was that of little William who wrote to our Committee, trying to track down his long lost love.
- That the most obscure search terms can direct people to our little blog. The wonders of Google!
Could this be your ancestor?
"A huge thank you for this very interesting material. So many family history questions answered… and in turn new questions are raised."- John, November 2009
"Thank you so very much for all your help. I think you're purely amazing; as were those wonderful folk in the Together Trust who went before you. How can we ever thank any of you?"
- Carole, October 2012

We hope you stay with us in the years to come to enjoy more of our stories.
